DTC U2002: Switch: Action

This DTC sets if the high power circuit FET temperature exceeds 115°C (239°F) for 10 seconds or 125°C (257°F) for less than 1 second. DIAGNOSE all other SASM DTCs before diagnosing DTC U2002:98. CARRY OUT the SASM Module Reset routine. CYCLE the ignition from ON to OFF and back to ON. CLEAR the DTC and then CARRY OUT the SASM self-test. If the DTC returns, INSTALL a new SASM-clockspring assembly. REFER to the CLOCKSPRING or CLOCKSPRING - VEHICLES WITH: ADAPTIVE STEERING .
