Selector Lever Knob: Removal

All vehicles 

  1. Slide the selector lever knob bezel down to access the 2 selector lever knob screws.

  2. NOTE: If equipped with a Transmission Control Switch (TCS), do not pull the selector lever knob off of the selector lever.

  3. Remove the 2 selector lever knob screws.

    Vehicles equipped with paddle shifters 

  4. Remove the selector lever knob.

    Vehicles equipped with a Transmission Control Switch (TCS) 

  5. Pull up on the 2 center console trim panels and remove the 2 trim panels from the center console. Disconnect the electrical connectors and remove the trim panels.

  6. Remove the 4 screws and remove the storage compartment from the center console. Disconnect the lighting electrical connector and remove the storage compartment.

  7. Remove the 4 selector lever bezel screws.

  8. Position the selector lever bezel and the selector lever knob off of the selector lever and the center console. Disconnect the TCS electrical connector and remove the selector lever knob.
