  • Frayed or binding accelerator cable
  • INSTALL a new accelerator cable.
 
  • Worn or damaged throttle body
  • The accelerator pedal and shaft binds or sticks
  • Kinked accelerator cable
  • INSTALL a new accelerator cable.
 
  • Foreign object caught in accelerator pedal linkage
  • CHECK the accelerator pedal linkage.
 
  • Worn or damaged throttle body
  • The engine idle speed is high
  • Kinked accelerator cable
  • INSTALL a new accelerator cable.
 
  • Foreign object caught in accelerator pedal linkage
  • Accelerator pedal caught under mispositioned floor mat
