Brake shift interlock system does not release/lock correctly	Brake Shift Interlock Actuator (BSIA) Circuitry open/shorted Central Junction Box (CJB) Fuse 142 (15A) Brake Pedal Position (BPP) switch	GO to PINPOINT TEST A .
	BSIA	INSTALL a new selector lever. REFER to SELECTOR LEVER .
	Transmission Range (TR) sensor	DIAGNOSE and REPAIR all TR sensor DTCs. REFER to AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE/TRANSMISSION - 4F27E .
Overdrive (O/D) does not operate correctly	O/D switch Circuitry open/shorted Vehicle PCM	GO to PINPOINT TEST B .
Overdrive (O/D) does not operate correctly	The selector lever is out of correct gear relationship	REFER to SELECTOR LEVER CABLE ADJUSTMENT . CHECK the selector lever cable bracket. TIGHTEN as necessary.
Unable to remove the key from the ignition	Circuitry shorted Ignition key lock solenoid Ignition switch Transmission selector lever	REFER to Diagnosis and Testing in STEERING COLUMN SWITCHES .
Unable to move the selector lever into PARK or 1 position	Selector lever cable out of adjustment Selector lever damaged	REFER to SELECTOR LEVER CABLE ADJUSTMENT . REPAIR the selector lever.
