Selector Lever Cable Adjustment

Set the selector lever to the drive (D) position.
Remove the air cleaner outlet pipe. Refer to INTAKE AIR DISTRIBUTION & FILTERING .
1. Rotate the manual control lever clockwise until it stops.
2. Rotate the manual control lever counterclockwise 1 detent.
1. Move the slide to the left.
2. While holding the slide, position the adjuster lock upward.
Install the air cleaner outlet pipe. Refer to INTAKE AIR DISTRIBUTION & FILTERING .
Verify that the vehicle starts in PARK and NEUTRAL only and that the reverse lamps illuminate in REVERSE.
