Selector Lever Cable: Installation

All Vehicles 

1. • Tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).
2. • Tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).
4. • Tighten to 7 Nm (62 lb-in).
5. Install the floor console. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL AND CONSOLE .

6. AWD Vehicles 

8. • Tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).

   FWD Vehicles 

9. All Vehicles 

11. Set the selector lever to the drive (D) position.
12. • Tighten to 7 Nm (62 lb-in).
13. 1. Rotate the manual control lever clockwise until it stops.
    2. Rotate the manual control lever counterclockwise 1 detent.
14. 1. Move the slide to the left.
    2. While holding the slide, position the adjuster lock upward.

16. AWD Vehicles 

17. Install the battery tray. Refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES .

    FWD Vehicles 

18. Install the ACL assembly. Refer to INTAKE AIR DISTRIBUTION & FILTERING .

    All Vehicles 

19. Verify that the vehicle starts in PARK and NEUTRAL only and that the reverse lamps illuminate in REVERSE.
