Removal

1. Remove the exterior sheet metal in the affected area.
2. Remove the welds and remove the inner body reinforcing panel at the factory seams only.

Installation

1. NOTE: Factory spot welds can be substituted with MIG plug welds or STRW. Spot welds must equal factory spot welds in both location and quantity.

Install the component and weld following recommended practices. REFER to General Specifications for recommended repair applications.

2. Corrosion protection must be restored following any repair procedure.
