P0605 Internal Control Module Read Only Memory (ROM) Error REPROGRAM the TCM. PERFORM the OBD self-test. If the DTC returns, INSTALL a new TCM. REFER to TRANSMISSION CONTROL MODULE (TCM) .

P06B8 Internal Control Module Non-Volatile Random Access Memory (NVRAM) Error REPROGRAM the TCM. PERFORM the OBD self-test. If the DTC returns, INSTALL a new TCM. REFER to TRANSMISSION CONTROL MODULE (TCM) .
P0701 Transmission Control System Range/Performance CLEAR the DTC. PERFORM the OBD self-test. If the DTC returns, INSTALL a new TCM. REFER to TRANSMISSION CONTROL MODULE (TCM) .
P0702 Transmission Control System Electrical This DTC sets with P0882 or P0883. REFER to the more specific DTC.
P0706 Transmission Range Sensor "A" Circuit Range/Performance The TR sensor duty cycle is below 2% or greater than 98%. Engine may not crank. May set DTC P0709. VERIFY TR sensor adaptive learn. REFER to TRANSMISSION ADAPTIVE LEARNING . If the DTC returns, GO to PINPOINT TEST D .
P0707 Transmission Range Sensor "A" Circuit Low The TR sensor duty cycle is below 2%. Engine may not crank. May set DTC P0709. VERIFY TR sensor adaptive learn. REFER to TRANSMISSION ADAPTIVE LEARNING . If the DTC returns, GO to PINPOINT TEST D .
P0708 Transmission Range Sensor "A" Circuit High The TR sensor duty cycle is greater than 98%. Engine may not crank. May set DTC P0709. VERIFY TR sensor adaptive learn. REFER to TRANSMISSION ADAPTIVE LEARNING . If the DTC returns, GO to PINPOINT TEST D .
P0715 Input/Turbine Shaft Speed Sensor "A" Circuit May set DTC P0718. PERFORM the speed sensor test. REFER to TRANSMISSION ADAPTIVE LEARNING . If the DTC returns, GO to PINPOINT TEST C .

P07A2 Transmission Friction Element "A" Performance/Stuck Off Potential cause may be Clutch A friction material. The clutch motor has failed or a mechanical failure. May set DTC P2700. INSTALL new components if damaged, REFER to CLUTCH .
P07A3 Transmission Friction Element "A" Stuck On Potential cause may be the spring that holds the clutch open when the motor is off. The clutch motor has failed or a mechanical failure. May set DTC P2700. INSTALL new components if damaged, REFER to CLUTCH .
P07A4 Transmission Friction Element "B" Performance/Stuck Off Potential cause may be Clutch B friction material. The clutch motor has failed or a mechanical failure. May set DTC P2701. INSTALL new components if damaged, REFER to CLUTCH .
P07A5 Transmission Friction Element "B" Stuck On Potential cause may be the spring that holds the clutch open when the motor is off. The clutch motor has failed or a mechanical failure. May set DTC P2701. INSTALL new components if damaged, REFER to CLUTCH .
P0805 Clutch Position Sensor "A" Circuit CLEAR the DTC. PERFORM the clutch system test. REFER to TRANSMISSION ADAPTIVE LEARNING . If the DTC returns, GO to PINPOINT TEST A .
P0806 Clutch Position Sensor "A" Circuit Range/Performance CLEAR the DTC. PERFORM the clutch system test. REFER to TRANSMISSION ADAPTIVE LEARNING . If the DTC returns, GO to PINPOINT TEST A .

P087E Clutch Position Sensor "B" Circuit Intermittent CLEAR the DTC. PERFORM the clutch system test. REFER to TRANSMISSION ADAPTIVE LEARNING . If the DTC returns, GO to PINPOINT TEST A .
P0882 TCM Power Input Signal Low INSPECT the TCM power and ground circuits for opens or short to ground. INSPECT the TCM connector for damaged or pushed-out terminals, corrosion or loose wires. CLEAR the DTC. If the DTC returns, GO to PINPOINT TEST A .
P0883 TCM Power Input Signal High CLEAR the DTC. If the DTC returns, see CHARGING SYSTEM .
P0900 Clutch "A" Actuator Control Circuit/Open GO to PINPOINT TEST A .
P0901 Clutch "A" Actuator Control Circuit Range/Performance GO to PINPOINT TEST A .
P0902 Clutch "A" Actuator Control Circuit Low GO to PINPOINT TEST A .
P0903 Clutch "A" Actuator Control Circuit High GO to PINPOINT TEST A .
P090A Clutch "B" Actuator Control Circuit/Open GO to PINPOINT TEST A .
P090B Clutch "B" Actuator Control Circuit Performance GO to PINPOINT TEST A .
P090C Clutch "B" Actuator Control Circuit Low GO to PINPOINT TEST A .
P090D Clutch "B" Actuator Control Circuit High GO to PINPOINT TEST A .
P1001 KOER Not Able to Complete, KOER Aborted CLEAR the DTC and RERUN the KOER self-test.
P1397 System Voltage Out Of Self Test Range The TCM was unable to complete the KOEO and/or KOER self-test because system voltage was outside the defined range. CLEAR the DTC and RERUN the KOEO and KOER self-test.
P1501 Vehicle Speed Sensor Out Of Self Test Range The TCM was unable to complete the KOEO and/or KOER self-test because a vehicle speed was detected during the self-test. CLEAR the DTC, make sure the vehicle is not moving and RERUN the KOEO and KOER self-test.
P163E Transmission Control Module Programming Error The transmission may not shift. REPROGRAM the TCM with the latest calibration. REFER to TRANSMISSION ADAPTIVE LEARNING .
P1705 Transmission Range Circuit Not Indicating Park/Neutral During Self Test The TCM was unable to complete the KOEO and/or KOER self-test because the TR sensor does not indicate Park or Neutral. CLEAR the DTC, make sure the selector lever is in the Park or Neutral position and RERUN the KOEO and KOER self-test.
P2700 Transmission Friction Element "A" Apply Time Range/Performance This DTC sets along with P07A2 and/or P07A3. Potential cause may be Clutch A friction material. The clutch motor has failed or a mechanical failure. REFER to CLUTCH
P2701 Transmission Friction Element "B" Apply Time Range/Performance This DTC sets along with P07A4 and/or P07A5. Potential cause may be Clutch B friction material. The clutch motor has failed or a mechanical failure. REFER to CLUTCH
P2765 Input/Turbine Shaft Speed Sensor "B" Circuit May set DTC P2768. PERFORM the speed sensor test. REFER to TRANSMISSION ADAPTIVE LEARNING . If the DTC returns, GO to PINPOINT TEST C .
P2766 Input/Turbine Shaft Speed Sensor "B" Circuit Range/Performance May set DTC P2768. PERFORM the speed sensor test. REFER to TRANSMISSION ADAPTIVE LEARNING . If the DTC returns, GO to PINPOINT TEST C .
P2767 Input/Turbine Shaft Speed Sensor "B" Circuit No Signal May set DTC P2768. PERFORM the speed sensor test. REFER to TRANSMISSION ADAPTIVE LEARNING . If the DTC returns, GO to PINPOINT TEST C .
P2768 Input/Turbine Shaft Speed Sensor "B" Circuit Intermittent Will set along with DTCs P06A7, P2765, P2766 and/or P2767. PERFORM the speed sensor test. REFER to TRANSMISSION ADAPTIVE LEARNING . If the DTC returns, GO to PINPOINT TEST C .
P2787 Clutch Temperature Too High The transmission is in neutral due to a clutch temperature greater than 350°C (662°F). CLEAR the DTC. PERFORM the clutch system test. REFER to TRANSMISSION ADAPTIVE LEARNING . If the DTC returns, REFER to DIAGNOSIS BY SYMPTOM .
P2801 Transmission Range Sensor "B" Circuit Range/Performance The TR sensor duty cycle is below 2% or greater than 98%. Engine may not crank. May set DTC P2804. VERIFY TR sensor adaptive learn. REFER to TRANSMISSION ADAPTIVE LEARNING . If the DTC returns, GO to PINPOINT TEST D .
P2802 Transmission Range Sensor "B" Circuit Low The TR sensor duty cycle is below 2%. Engine may not crank. May set DTC P2804. VERIFY TR sensor adaptive learn. REFER to TRANSMISSION ADAPTIVE LEARNING . If the DTC returns, GO to PINPOINT TEST D .
P2803 Transmission Range Sensor "B" Circuit High The TR sensor duty cycle is greater than 98%. Engine may not crank. May set DTC P2804. VERIFY TR sensor adaptive learn. REFER to TRANSMISSION ADAPTIVE LEARNING . If the DTC returns, GO to PINPOINT TEST D .
P2804 Transmission Range Sensor "B" Circuit Intermittent Engine may not crank. Will set DTCs P2801, P2802 and/or P2803. This DTC is used to light the wrench light. VERIFY TR sensor adaptive learn. REFER to TRANSMISSION ADAPTIVE LEARNING . If the DTC returns, GO to PINPOINT TEST D .
P2805 Transmission Range Sensor "A"/"B" Correlation The TR sensor input A and input B are not within the calibrated range.
P2831 Shift Fork "A" Position Circuit PERFORM the shift drum adaptive learning. REFER to TRANSMISSION ADAPTIVE LEARNING . If the DTC returns, GO to PINPOINT TEST B .
P2832 Shift Fork "A" Position Circuit Range/Performance PERFORM the shift drum adaptive learning. REFER to TRANSMISSION ADAPTIVE LEARNING . If the DTC returns, GO to PINPOINT TEST B .
P2835 Shift Fork "A" Position Circuit Intermittent PERFORM the shift drum adaptive learning. REFER to TRANSMISSION ADAPTIVE LEARNING . If the DTC returns, GO to PINPOINT TEST B .
P2836 Shift Fork "B" Position Circuit PERFORM the shift drum adaptive learning. REFER to TRANSMISSION ADAPTIVE LEARNING . If the DTC returns, GO to PINPOINT TEST B .

P2861 Shift Fork "B" Actuator Circuit Low May set DTC P2860. PERFORM the shift drum adaptive learning. REFER to TRANSMISSION ADAPTIVE LEARNING . If the DTC returns, GO to PINPOINT TEST B .
P2862 Shift Fork "B" Actuator Circuit High May set DTC P2860. PERFORM the shift drum adaptive learning. REFER to TRANSMISSION ADAPTIVE LEARNING . If the DTC returns, GO to PINPOINT TEST B .
P286F Clutch "A" Disengagement Time Performance/Too Slow Potential cause may be Clutch A is stuck on or a control system error. PERFORM the clutch system test. REFER to TRANSMISSION ADAPTIVE LEARNING . If the DTC returns, REFER to CLUTCH
P2872 Clutch "A" Stuck Engaged Potential cause may be a stuck motor, a position sensor fault or the connection between motor to clutch is broken. PERFORM the clutch system test. REFER to TRANSMISSION ADAPTIVE LEARNING . If the DTC returns, REFER to CLUTCH
P2877 Clutch "B" Disengagement Time Performance/Too Slow Potential cause may be Clutch B is stuck on or a control system error. PERFORM the clutch system test. REFER to TRANSMISSION ADAPTIVE LEARNING . If the DTC returns, REFER to CLUTCH
P287A Clutch "B" Stuck Engaged Potential cause may be a stuck motor, a position sensor fault or the connection between motor to clutch is broken. PERFORM the clutch system test. REFER to TRANSMISSION ADAPTIVE LEARNING . If the DTC returns, REFER to CLUTCH
P287B Shift Fork Calibration Not Learned Potential cause may be a motor fault, shift drum damaged, end stops damaged or shift fork damaged. PERFORM the TCM reprogramming. REFER to TRANSMISSION ADAPTIVE LEARNING . If the DTC returns, REFER to CLUTCH .
U0028 Vehicle Communication Bus A This DTC is used to light the wrench light. This DTC sets with U0073.
U0073 Control Module Communication Bus "A" Off This DTC indicates the TCM lost communication with the PCM, ABS module and IPC module. VERIFY the integrity of the connectors and wiring. CLEAR the DTC and REPEAT the network test. REFER to MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK .
U0100 Lost Communication With ECM/PCM "A" May set DTC U0294. This DTC indicates the TCM lost communication with the PCM only. VERIFY the integrity of the PCM connector, PCM fuse's and wiring. CLEAR the DTC and REPEAT the network test. REFER to MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK .
U0115 Lost Communication With ECM/PCM "B" This DTC indicates the TCM lost communication with the PCM only. VERIFY the integrity of the PCM connector, PCM fuse's and wiring. CLEAR the DTC and REPEAT the network test. REFER to MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK .
U0121 Lost Communication With Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) Control Module This DTC indicates the TCM lost communication with the ABS module only. VERIFY the integrity of the ABS module connector, ABS module fuse's and wiring. CLEAR the DTC and REPEAT the network test. REFER to MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK .
U0129 Lost Communication With Brake System Control Module May set DTC U0121. This DTC indicates the TCM lost communication with the ABS module only. VERIFY the integrity of the ABS module connector, ABS module fuse's and wiring. CLEAR the DTC and REPEAT the network test. REFER to MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK .
U0155 Lost Communication With Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) Control Module May lose electronic PRNDL. This DTC indicates the TCM lost communication with the IPC module. VERIFY the integrity of the IPC module connector, IPC module fuse's and wiring. CLEAR the DTC and REPEAT the network test. REFER to MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK .
U0294 Lost Communication With Powertrain Control Monitor Module May set DTC U0100. This DTC indicates the TCM lost communication with the PCM only. VERIFY the integrity of the PCM connector, PCM fuse's and wiring. CLEAR the DTC and REPEAT the network test. REFER to ENGINE CONTROLS - INTRODUCTION (EXCEPT DIESEL & HYBRID) (SECTION 0) .
U0401 Invalid Data Received from ECM/PCM A This DTC indicates the PCM is sending a fault message for one or more data signals the TCM uses for function. Using the diagnostic scan tool, CLEAR all Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs). PERFORM a PCM self-test. If PCM Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) are present, REFER to ENGINE CONTROLS - INTRODUCTION (EXCEPT DIESEL & HYBRID) (SECTION 0) and follow the PCM repair procedure.
U0415 Invalid Data Received From Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) Control Module This DTC indicates the ABS module is sending a fault state for vehicle speed. Using the diagnostic scan tool, retrieve ABS module DTCs. REFER to ANTI-LOCK BRAKE SYSTEM AND STABILITY CONTROL and follow the ABS repair procedures.
