Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) Transmitter Programming: Programming
NOTE:
All RKE
transmitters must be programmed at the same time. Entering the programming mode erases all previously programmed RKE
transmitters (Integrated Keyhead Transmitters (IKTs) and key fobs). The PATS
portion of the programmed Integrated Keyhead Transmitters (IKTs) is unaffected.

- Use the door lock control switch to unlock the doors.
- Cycle the ignition from OFF to RUN to OFF 4 times (2013 model year and older) or 8 times (2014 model year and newer) in rapid succession (within 10 seconds), with the last turn ending in OFF. If the module successfully enters program mode, a chime sounds.
-
NOTE: Programming mode ends when:
- the ignition transitions ON.
- 20 seconds elapse since entering programming mode or since the last RKE
transmitter was programmed (a chime sounds to confirm that programming is complete).
Within 20 seconds, press and hold any button on the RKE transmitter to be programmed until a chime sounds to confirm the RKE transmitter is programmed. Repeat this step for each RKE transmitter.
- Check the operation of the RKE transmitters. If the door locks do not respond for the programmed RKE transmitter (s), wait several seconds and press the button again. If the door locks still fail to respond, diagnose the RKE transmitter(s).
