Diagnostic Aids

DTC U0428:00 indicates a concern with the signals transmitted by the SASM and used by the EPAS system. Do not install a new EPAS assembly if this DTC is set. If equipped with active park assist, park assist is disabled when this DTC is set.

DTC U0428:62 indicates the steering angle value sent from the SASM does not match the internal EPAS steering angle. All functions that require the steering angle message are disabled. If equipped with active park assist, park assist is disabled when this DTC is set.
