DTC U3002: Vehicle Identification Number: Description

The vehicle identification number is stored to the PSCM from the as-built data communicated by the IPC over the HS-CAN, during the end of line configuration process. At each ignition cycle the IPC reads the stored vehicle identification number in the PSCM and compares it to the vehicle identification number stored in the as-built data.

• DTC U3002:62 (Vehicle Identification Number: Signal Compare Failure) - If the PSCM detects a mismatch between the stored and learned vehicle identification numbers in the PSCM, DTC U3002:62 sets in the PSCM.
