Removal And Installation: Generator: Installation

Radial arm installation only 

1. • 1. Tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).
   • 2. Tighten to 17 Nm (150 lb-in).

   All vehicles 

3. • Tighten to 8 Nm (71 lb-in).
4. • Tighten to 47 Nm (35 lb-ft).
5. • Tighten to 47 Nm (35 lb-ft).
6. • Tighten to 17 Nm (150 lb-in).

   Vehicles equipped with a 3.5L GTDI engine 

7. Install the A/C compressor. Refer to CLIMATE CONTROL .

   Vehicles equipped with a 3.5L Ti-VCT engine 

9. Install the cooling fan assembly. Refer to ENGINE COOLING .

   All vehicles 

10. Connect the battery cable. Refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES .
