Removal And Installation: Generator: Removal

All vehicles 

1. Disconnect the battery. Refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES .

   Radial arm removal only 

   NOTE: The radial arm adapter is a serviceable item. Do not remove the generator if the radial arm adapter is the only concern.

2. Vehicles equipped with a 3.5L Ti-VCT engine 

3. Remove the cooling fan assembly. Refer to ENGINE COOLING .

4. Vehicles equipped with a 3.5L GTDI engine 

5. Remove the A/C compressor. Refer to CLIMATE CONTROL .
