Normal Operation
The PSCM communicates with the diagnostic scan tool and other module through the HS-CAN.
If the PSCM cannot communicate with the diagnostic scan tool or other modules, the EPAS system defaults to a pre-determined vehicle speed setting and the customer may experience a lack of assist or a heavy steering feel.
This generates a RVC for a new PSCM when directed to do so from an appropriate service information pinpoint test.
- AE1: CONFIRM PSCM REPLACEMENT WAS DIRECTED BY APPROPRIATE SERVICE INFORMATION TEST.
