Normal Operation and Fault Conditions

With the ignition ON, the CCM sends messages to the ABS module over the HS-CAN 2. If the ABS module does not receive these messages within a certain time frame, the ABS module sets a DTC. For information on the messages sent to the ABS module by the CCM, refer to the Network Message Chart. 

PPT R ABS MODULE DTC FAULT TRIGGER CONDITIONS

DTC Description Fault Trigger Conditions
U0104:00 Lost Communication With Cruise Control Module: No Sub Type Information Sets when the ABS module detects any of the following CCM messages are missing: collision mitigation by braking deceleration, collision mitigation by braking precharge, adaptive cruise control deceleration or adaptive cruise control precharge.
U0405:41 Invalid Data Received From Cruise Control Module: General Checksum Failure This DTC sets if the collision mitigation by braking deceleration message checksum is invalid.
U0405:82 Invalid Data Received From Cruise Control Module: Alive/Sequence Counter Incorrect/Not Updated This DTC sets if the collision mitigation by braking deceleration message rolling counter is invalid.
U0405:86 Invalid Data Received From Cruise Control Module: Signal Invalid This DTC sets if the CCM is requesting an external apply of the electric parking brake and the vehicle is not in static mode.
