Normal Operation and Fault Conditions

The ABS module requires the current vehicle configuration information to operate correctly. This information is programmed into the ABS module when a new module is installed. 

The BCM sends the vehicle configuration information to the ABS module over the HS-CAN, the ABS module compares this information with the programmed information.
