Selector Lever Cable: Removal

  1. 1.

    With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview .

  1. 2.

    Position the selector lever in DRIVE.

  1. 3.

    Disconnect the selector lever cable from the selector lever and remove the selector lever cable retainer bolt.

  1. 4.

    Disconnect the selector lever cable from the selector lever assembly.

  1. 5.

    Disconnect the selector lever cable retainer from the transmission.

  1. 6.

    Disconnect the selector lever cable from the manual lever and remove the selector lever cable bolt.

  1. 7.

    Disconnect the selector cable retainer and remove the selector lever cable.
