DTC C1B00 Steering Angle Sensor

Failure Action
49 CHECK vehicle service history for recent service actions related to the SASM. This DTC sets due to incomplete or improper flash programming procedures. If there have been recent service actions with the SASM, REPEAT the programming procedure as directed by the diagnostic scan tool. If there have been no recent service actions, CLEAR the DTC, CYCLE the ignition, CARRY OUT the SASM self-test. If the DTC returns, INSTALL a new SASM to correct the failure to retain software data. REFER to STEERING WHEEL AND STEERING COLUMN ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS .
61 This DTC indicates that part of the SASM has failed internally. CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test. If the DTC returns, INSTALL a new SASM. REFER to STEERING WHEEL AND STEERING COLUMN ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS .
62 This DTC indicates that part of the SASM has failed internally. CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test. If the DTC returns, INSTALL a new SASM. REFER to STEERING WHEEL AND STEERING COLUMN ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS .
64 CLEAR the DTC. TEST DRIVE the vehicle and CARRY OUT at least one left turn and one right turn. CARRY OUT a SASM self-test. If the DTC returns, INSTALL a new SASM. REFER to STEERING WHEEL AND STEERING COLUMN ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS .
81 This DTC indicates that part of the SASM has failed internally. CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test. If the DTC returns, INSTALL a new SASM. REFER to STEERING WHEEL AND STEERING COLUMN ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS .
85 Go to PINPOINT TEST AA 
87 The module could not communicate on the network at a point in time. The fault is not currently present since the module is able to communicate with the diagnostic scan tool to report this DTC. VERIFY the integrity of the connectors and wiring. Refer to MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK , for schematic and connector information.
92 CLEAR the DTC. TEST DRIVE the vehicle and CARRY OUT at least one left turn and one right turn. CARRY OUT a SASM self-test. If the DTC returns, INSTALL a new SASM. REFER to STEERING WHEEL AND STEERING COLUMN ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS .
96 This DTC indicates that part of the SASM has failed internally. CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test. If the DTC returns, INSTALL a new SASM. REFER to STEERING WHEEL AND STEERING COLUMN ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS .
