Steering Wheel: Removal
NOTE:
Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
NOTE:
Make sure the wheels and steering wheel is in the straight ahead position.
NOTE:
Vehicle without heated steering wheel shown in illustration, others similar.

Remove the driver airbag. REFER to: Driver Airbag .

Disconnect the steering wheel electrical connector.
- 2.
Remove the steering wheel bolt and the steering wheel.Torque
: 35 lb.ft (48 Nm)

- 3.NOTE: Make sure the clockspring rotor does not rotate.NOTE: Make sure the clockspring pins are not bent or damaged.
Tape the clockspring rotor to the outer housing to keep it from rotating.
