Removal And Installation

NOTE: Electronic modules are sensitive to electrical charges. The Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) module can be damaged if exposed to these charges.

  1. 1.

    Remove the Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU). For additional information, refer to Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU) .

  1. 2.

    Remove and discard the 4 screws.
    • To install, tighten the new screws to 3 Nm (27 lb-in).

  1. 3.

    Remove the ABS module.

  1. 4.

    To install, reverse the removal procedure.
