| P1501 | Vehicle Speed Sensor Out of Self Test Range | This DTC sets if the information in the wheel speed sensor message is outside of the programmed set of parameters. This is most likely due to wheel speed sensor concerns, wiring harness concerns, wheel speed sensor encoder concerns or vehicle communication concerns. DIAGNOSE all PCM communication (U-codes) Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) before diagnosing any ABS module Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) If there are no communication Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) in the PCM, using a diagnostic scan tool, CARRY OUT the ABS module self-test. DIAGNOSE all ABS module Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs). |
