Steering Angle Sensor Module (SASM): Removal
NOTE:
Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
- 1.
Remove the clockspring. Refer to: Clockspring .
- 2.
On both sides.- 1.
Remove the screws.
- 2.
Push in the tabs and remove the steering column multifunction switch.
- 1.
- 3.
Disconnect the SASM electrical connector and remove the 2 SASM upper screws.Torque: 27 lb.in (3 Nm)
- 4.
Remove the 2 SASM lower screws, detach the wiring harness pin-type retainer and remove the SASM.Torque: 27 lb.in (3 Nm)
