Transmission Control Switch
Normal Operation and Fault Conditions
The TCS is a momentary contact switch located on the selector lever knob. Pressing the TCS will engage or disengage the Grade Assist function of the transmission. When Grade Assist is engaged, the Grade Assist icon will illuminate on the IPC.
DTC Fault Trigger Conditions

Possible Sources
- Connectors damaged or pushed-out terminals, corrosion, loose wires and missing or damaged seals
- Fuse 85 (7.5A)
- TCS/Grade Assist switch
- PCM
