This DTC sets if the collision mitigation by braking deceleration message checksum is invalid. Using a diagnostic scan tool, RETRIEVE and DIAGNOSE all CCM module DTCs. REFER to
Diagnosis and Testing in the appropriate cruise control system article or Collision Warning and Collision Avoidance System article. If no CCM DTCs are present, the DTC may be caused by an intermittent concern. SET the ignition to OFF. DISCONNECT and INSPECT all PCM and GWM electrical connectors and related in-line connectors for corrosion, bent pins, pushed-out pins and spread terminals. REPAIR as necessary. |
