Removal And Installation: Generator: Removal

All vehicles 

  1. 1.

    Disconnect the battery. Refer to Battery, Mounting and Cables .

Radial arm removal only 

NOTE: The radial arm adapter is a serviceable item. Do not remove the generator if the radial arm adapter is the only concern.

Vehicles equipped with a 3.5L Ti-VCT engine 

  1. 3.

    Remove the cooling fan assembly. Refer to Engine Cooling .

    Remove the A/C compressor. Refer to Climate Control .
