Rear Wheel Speed Sensor: Removal
- Remove the wheel and tire. Refer to: Wheel and Tire .

NOTE: Note the positioning of the rear wheel speed sensor wiring retainers.
Disconnect the rear wheel speed sensor electrical connector and detach the wiring retainers.

NOTE: Make sure that the sensor housing area is clean and free of foreign material before the sensor is removed.
Using compressed air, clean the sensor housing area.

NOTE: The rear wheel speed sensor may be installed with washers between the sensor and wheel knuckle. If washers are present, install the new wheel speed sensor using the original washers.
Remove the bolt, the rear wheel speed sensor and if equipped, the washer(s).
Torque: 80 lb.in (9 Nm)
