Fuel System Pressure Check

310-D009 (D95L-7211-A) Fuel Pressure Test Kit

Check 

1. Release the fuel pressure. Refer to: Fuel System Pressure Release  .
2. Remove the retainers and the engine appearance cover.

3. 1. Disconnect the secondary latch and position out of the way.
   2. Disconnect the high-pressure fuel pump supply line spring lock coupling. Refer to: Spring Lock Couplings  .

4. Install the Fuel Pressure Test Kit between the fuel jumper tube and the high pressure fuel pump. Install Special Service Tool: 310-D009 (D95L-7211-A) Fuel Pressure Test Kit.
5. NOTE: The fuel pump fuses were removed during the Fuel System Pressure Release.

   Install the fuel pump fuses F19 and F20.

6. Test the fuel system pressure to make sure it is within the specified range. Refer to: Specifications  .
7. Release the fuel system pressure. Refer to: Fuel System Pressure Release  .
8. Remove the fuel pressure test kit. Remove Special Service Tool: 310-D009 (D95L-7211-A) Fuel Pressure Test Kit.
9. 1. NOTE: The spring lock coupling must be installed onto the fuel tube end along the centerline. The assembly is complete when the tube end bottoms out on the spring lock coupling with an audible click/snap feel. Correct assembly should be verified by pulling back on the spring lock coupling end.

      Connect the high-pressure fuel pump supply line spring lock coupling. Refer to: Spring Lock Couplings  .

   2. Install the secondary latch.

10. Install the engine appearance cover and the retainers.

    Torque: 89 lb.in (10 Nm)
