Steering Angle Sensor Module (SASM): Removal
NOTE:
Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
- Remove the clockspring. REFER to: Clockspring .
- On both sides.
- Remove the screws.
- Push in the tabs and remove the steering column multifunction switch.
- Disconnect the SASM electrical connector and remove the 2 SASM upper screws.
Torque: 27 lb.in (3 Nm)
- Remove the 2 SASM lower screws, detach the wiring harness pin-type retainer and remove the SASM.
Torque: 27 lb.in (3 Nm)
