Jacking and Lifting - Overview
Jacking Points
Lifting
WARNING:
Before lifting a vehicle using a lift, ensure that the weight-bearing capacity of the lift is sufficient. Any installations, modifications, and load must also be taken into consideration. The specified lifting points in group 100-02 must be noted. Under no circumstances may power be transmitted to the driven wheels if the wheels are still touching the ground. Incorrectly positioned lift arms or driven wheels touching the ground may result in unintended vehicle movement. This increases the risk of personal injury or death.
Jacking
WARNING:
Before lifting a vehicle using a jack, ensure that the weight-bearing capacity of the jack is sufficient. Any installations, modifications, and load must also be taken into consideration. The specified jacking points in group 100-02 must be noted. Make sure that the jack is vertical to the jacking point and the base is flat on the ground. Once lifted, the vehicle must be secured with axle stands. Never crawl under a vehicle that has not been secured with axle stands. Use the parking brake and block all the wheels touching the ground. Failure to follow this instruction may result in unintended vehicle movement. This increases the risk of personal injury or death.
