This DTC is usually set if the PSCM has recently been flashed and the flash was done incorrectly or was interrupted. When this DTC is set the EPAS system may fail to power up, operating only in manual mode or in reduced assist mode.

The presence of DTC U0300:00 prevents the active park assist system (if equipped) from activating. If set during an active park assist event, the event is terminated and the active park assist system is deactivated.
