Main Control Valve Body: Removal

  1. Remove the main control cover. Refer to: Main Control Cover .
  2. Disconnect the TR sensor electrical connector.

  3. Disconnect the OSS electrical connector.

  4. Remove the rubber grommet.

  5. NOTE: Take extra care when handling the components.
    NOTE: Note the different lengths of the bolts.

    Remove the nut, the bolts and the main control.

  6. Remove and discard the main control-to-transmission case separator plate.

  7. Remove the bolts and separate the solenoid body assembly from the main control valve body.

  8. Remove the 2 bolts and remove and discard the separator plate.
