Powertrain Control Module (PCM): Installation
- Install the PCM and connect the PCM electrical connectors.
- Position the PCM and attach the wiring retainer, install the retainers.
- Install the retainers and the PCM cover.
Torque
: 27 lb.in (3 Nm)
- Install the LHF fender splash shield. REFER to: FENDER SPLASH SHIELD .

NOTE: This step is only necessary when installing a new component.
Upload the module information from the diagnostic tool using the Programmable Modules Installation routine. REFER to: MODULE CONFIGURATION SYSTEM .

- Reprogram the PATS. Carry out the Parameter Reset procedure. For vehicles without Intelligent Access (IA). REFER to: Passive Anti-Theft System (PATS) Parameter Reset - Vehicles Without: Keyless Entry and Push Button Start.
- Reprogram the PATS. Carry out the Parameter Reset procedure. For vehicles with Intelligent Access (IA). REFER to: Passive Anti-Theft System (PATS) Parameter Reset - Vehicles With: Keyless Entry and Push Button Start.
- After completing the repairs, perform the Misfire Monitor Neutral Profile Correction procedure.
