Powertrain Control Module (PCM): Installation

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
NOTE: This step is only necessary when installing a new component.

Upload the module information from the diagnostic tool using the Programmable Modules Installation routine.

Use the General Equipment: Ford Diagnostic Equipment
- Reprogram the PATS. Carry out the Parameter Reset procedure. For vehicles without Intelligent Access (IA).

- Refer to: Passive Anti-Theft System (PATS) Parameter Reset - Vehicles With: Keyless Entry and Push Button Start.
After completing the repairs, perform the Misfire Monitor Neutral Profile Correction procedure.
