Sunload Sensor: Removal

Expedition, Expedition EL vehicles
- 1.
Remove the sunload sensor.- Detach the sunload sensor from the instrument panel.
- Disconnect sunload electrical connector and remove the sunload sensor.
Navigator, Navigator L vehicles
- 2.
Remove the Front Controls Interface Module(FCIM). Refer to, Information and Entertainment Systems - AM/FM/CD , Information and Entertainment Systems - 4.2-Inch (107 mm) Screen, AM/FM CD Sync , Information and Entertainment Systems - Sony Audio System or Information and Entertainment Systems - THX Audio System .
- 4.
Remove the instrument panel center bezel.- Remove the screws and position aside instrument panel center bezel.
- Disconnect the sunload sensor electrical connector.
- Remove the instrument panel center bezel.
- Tighten to 2.5 Nm (23 lb-in).
