DTC U0415: Invalid Data Received from ABS Control Module: Description
The PSCM monitors the HS-CAN messages when the ignition has been on for more than 5 seconds, the voltage to the PSCM is greater than 9 volts and there are no DTCs present inhibiting PSCM operation.
- DTC U0415:00 (Invalid Data Received from Anti-Lock Brake System [ABS] Control Module: No Sub Type Information) - This DTC is set if the PSCM receives an "fault" or "unknown" message from the ABS module instead of valid steering wheel compensation, wheel speed sensor or yaw rate messages.
- DTC U0415:22 (Invalid Data Received from Anti-Lock Brake System [ABS] Control Module: Signal Amplitude > Maximum) - This DTC sets if the information in the steering wheel compensation message from the ABS module exceeds the maximum steering gear travel. Installing the steering wheel, SCCM, steering angle sensor (if equipped with active park assist), steering column shaft or steering gear pinion 180 degrees or more off-center causes the PSCM to interpret the HS-CAN messages as incorrect or invalid and set this DTC.
