Front Wheel Speed Sensor: Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

Remove the wheel and tire. Refer to: Wheel and Tire .
1. Remove the retainers.
2. Position aside the fender splash shield.

- Disconnect the front wheel speed sensor electrical connector.
- Detach the wiring retainers.

1. NOTE: Make sure that the sensor housing is clean and free of foreign material.
  
  Remove the bolt and detach the front wheel speed sensor from the wheel knuckle.
  
  Torque: 80 lb.in (9 Nm)
2. NOTE: Note the position of the component before removal.
  
  Detach the wiring retainers.
3. NOTE: Make sure the alignment line is not twisted during installation.
  
  Remove the front wheel speed sensor.
