Removal And Installation: Generator: Removal

All vehicles 

1. Disconnect the battery. Refer to Charging System (Battery, Battery Mounting And Battery Cables) .

   Radial arm removal only 

   NOTE: The radial arm adapter is a serviceable item. Do not remove the generator if the radial arm adapter is the only concern.

2. Remove the cooling fan assembly. Refer to Engine Cooling .

3. Remove the A/C compressor. Refer to Climate Control .
