Soft Start Module

The starting system employs a relay-like function to optimize the timing amongst the starter motor and ring gear during engagement as the engine cranks. This relay-like device will reduce the in-rush current to the starter motor and lessons the potential for electro-dynamic stress on the starter motor components and associated circuitry. The relay function operates like a traditional relay, with a delayed output to allow a softer engagement of the starter motor.
