Front Wheel Speed Sensor: Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

Remove the wheel and tire. Refer to: Wheel and Tire .
- Disconnect the electrical connector and detach the wiring retainers.
- NOTE: Use the hex-holding feature to prevent the ball stud from turning while removing or installing the stabilizer bar link nut.
  
  Remove and discard the stabilizer bar link nut. Position the wheel speed sensor wiring and bracket aside.
  
  Torque: 85 lb.ft (115 Nm)

NOTE: Make sure that the sensor housing area is clean and free of foreign material before the sensor is removed.

Using compressed air, clean the sensor housing area.

Remove the bolt and the front wheel speed sensor.
Torque: 80 lb.in (9 Nm)
