Gear Shift Module (GSM): Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
  1. Release the clips and remove the RH floor console finish panel. Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover

  2. Release the clips, push pin and remove the LH floor console side trim panel. Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover

  3. Open floor console armrest.

  4. Release the clips, push pin and remove the RH floor console side trim panel.

    • Disconnect the electrical connector.

  5. Release the clips, push pin and remove the LH floor console side trim panel.

  6. Release the clips and remove the floor console upper trim panel.

    • Disconnect the electrical connectors.

  7. Release the clips and remove the RH finish panel.

  8. Release the clips and remove the LH finish panel.

  9. Remove the bolts and the transmission selector bracket.

    • Disconnect the electrical connectors.

  10. Remove the bolts and the GSM.
