DTC Fault Trigger Conditions
DTC Description Fault Trigger Condition SOBDMC P0C17:00 Drive Motor "A" Position Sensor Not Learned: No Sub Type Information This DTC sets when the TRID block was either not programmed, erased or lost. SOBDMC P0DFC:00 Generator Position Sensor Not Learned: No Sub Type Information This DTC sets if the TRID block is programmed, but the data is determined to be out of range. Possible Sources
- TRID block programming
- Inverter System Controller (ISC) calibration
- AI1 VERIFY THE INVERTER SYSTEM CONTROLLER (ISC) CALIBRATION LEVEL
- Verify the Inverter System Controller (ISC) is at the latest calibration level.
Is the Inverter System Controller (ISC) at the latest calibration level?
Yes GO to AI2 No UPDATE the Inverter System Controller (ISC) to the latest calibration level. - AI2 VERIFY THE INVERTER SYSTEM CONTROLLER (ISC) TRID BLOCK HAS BEEN PROGRAMMED CORRECTLY
- Verify the Inverter System Controller (ISC) TRID block has been programmed correctly. Refer to Module Reprogramming on the scan tool.
Has the TRID block been successfully programmed?
Yes GO to AI3 No CHECK OASIS for any applicable service articles: TSB, GSB, SSM or FSA. If a service article exists for this concern, DISCONTINUE this test and FOLLOW the service article instructions. If no service articles address this concern, reflash the Inverter System Controller (ISC) TRID block. - AI3 REPEAT THE SELF-TEST
- CLEAR the Inverter System Controller (ISC) DTCs.
- CARRY out the Inverter System Controller (ISC) self-test.
Is DTC P0C17 or P0DFC present?
Yes CHECK OASIS for any applicable service articles: TSB, GSB, SSM or FSA. If a service article exists for this concern, DISCONTINUE this test and FOLLOW the service article instructions. If no service articles address this concern, reflash the Inverter System Controller (ISC) TRID block. If the concern is still present after the TRID block flash, it is necessary to seek additional help. REFER to the Service Repair And Technical Assistance Process. No The system is operating correctly at this time. The DTC may have been set due to high network traffic or an intermittent fault condition, the TRID block was not programmed correctly or was erased.
