DTC Fault Trigger Conditions
DTC Description Fault Trigger Condition SOBDMC P0A94:00 DC/DC Converter "A" Performance: No Sub Type Information This DTC sets when an internal issue with inductor current sensor (not serviceable) is detected. Possible Sources
- Inverter System Controller (ISC) calibration
- Transmission assembly
- Inverter System Controller (ISC)
- CF1 CHECK THE INVERTER SYSTEM CONTROLLER (ISC) CALIBRATION LEVEL
- Verify the Inverter System Controller (ISC) is at the latest calibration level.
Is the Inverter System Controller (ISC) at the latest calibration level?
Yes GO to CF2 No UPDATE the Inverter System Controller (ISC) to the latest calibration level. - CF2 TEST DRIVE THE VEHICLE
- Clear the Inverter System Controller (ISC) DTCs.
- Drive the vehicle at speeds above 45 mph and aggressive acceleration in an attempt to duplicate the concern
- Using a diagnostic scan tool, run the Inverter System Controller (ISC) self-test.
Is DTC P0A94 present?
Yes If the vehicle exhibits noticeably decreased performance compared to a similarly equipped vehicle or exhibits noticeably increased engine speed flares (different than a similarly equipped vehicle), INSTALL a new Transmission. REFER to: Transmission . CLEAR the Inverter System Controller (ISC) DTCs. REPEAT the self-test. If the vehicle performance is comparable to a similarly equipped vehicle, CHECK OASIS for any applicable service articles: TSB, GSB, SSM or FSA. If a service article exists for this concern, DISCONTINUE this test and FOLLOW the service article instructions. If no service articles address this concern, INSTALL a new Inverter System Controller (ISC). REFER to: Inverter System Controller [SOBDMC] . No GO to CF3 - CF3 CHECK THE VEHICLE SERVICE HISTORY
- CHECK the vehicle service history for recent service actions related to the Inverter System Controller (ISC).
Has the Inverter System Controller (ISC) been recently been replaced for DTCs P0A7A:96 or P0A78:96?
Yes INSTALL a new Transmission. REFER to: Transmission . CLEAR the Inverter System Controller (ISC) DTCs. REPEAT the self-test. No Refer to ENGINE CONTROLS - PINPOINT TESTS (HYBRID) .
