DTC Fault Trigger Conditions
DTC Description Fault Trigger Condition SOBDMC P174E:00 Output Shaft Speed / ABS Wheel Speed Correlation: No Sub Type Information This DTC sets when the output shaft speed is different than the average wheel speeds reported by the ABS module. Possible Sources
- Broken or disconnected half shaft
- Incorrect wheel speed values
- CT1 INSPECT THE HALF SHAFTS
- Ignition OFF.
- Visually inspect all half shafts for damage.
Is a concern present?
Yes REPAIR as necessary. CLEAR the Inverter System Controller (ISC) DTCs and REPEAT the self-test. No GO to CT2 - CT2 CHECK FOR ABS (ANTI-LOCK BRAKE SYSTEM) DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTCS)
- Using a diagnostic scan tool, perform the ABS module self-test.
Are any ABS DTCs present?
Yes DIAGNOSE all other ABS DTCs. No DIAGNOSE the observable symptom. Refer to ENGINE CONTROLS - INTRODUCTION (HYBRID) .
