All Terrain Control Module (ATCM): Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

Selectable Drive Mode Switch - Shifter Button type 

  1. Shifter Button type Refer to: Selector Lever Assembly .

    Selectable Drive Mode Switch (Console rotary type) 

    NOTE: Move the front seats forward and rearward as necessary to access floor console components.
  2. Release the clips and remove the RH floor console side trim panel.

  3. Disconnect the RH floor console electrical connectors.

  4. Release the clips and remove the LH floor console side trim panel.

  5. Disconnect the LH floor console electrical connectors.

  6. Remove the bolts and position the floor console rearward.

  7. Open the console door.

  8. Release the clips, detach the console top panel, disconnect the electrical connectors and remove the console top panel.

  9. Remove the module.

    1. Release the tabs.
    2. Remove the switch.

    Selectable Drive Mode Switch (Console Button) for 

    NOTE: Move the front seats forward and rearward as necessary to access floor console components.
  10. Release the clips and remove the RH floor console side trim panel.

  11. Disconnect the RH floor console electrical connectors.

  12. Release the clips and remove the LH floor console side trim panel.

  13. Disconnect the LH floor console electrical connectors.

  14. Remove the bolts and position the floor console rearward.

  15. Open the console door.

  16. Release the clips, detach the console top panel, disconnect the electrical connectors and remove the console top panel.

  17. Remove the module.

    1. Release the tabs.
    2. Remove the switch.
