Normal Operation and Fault Conditions
During a traction control event, the ABS module sends a torque request message to the PCM. The PCM responds by reducing engine torque to aid in preventing drive wheel slip. If the PCM does not receive the message or the requested amount of torque is outside programmed parameters, this DTC is set in the PCM. The PCM only monitors for a torque request message during a wheel slip event.
