DTC P193C: Steering Wheel Angle Signal: Action

This DTC sets if the information in the steering wheel angle sensor message is outside of the programmed set of parameters. This is most likely due to steering wheel angle sensor concerns, wiring harness concerns or vehicle communication concerns. If the vehicle is equipped with adaptive steering, CARRY OUT the SASM self-test. DIAGNOSE any SASM DTCs. REFER to the SASM DTC Chart in this article. If the vehicle is not equipped with adaptive steering or if there are no DTCs present in the SASM, CARRY OUT the SCCM self-test. DIAGNOSE any SCCM DTCs. REFER to the Steering Wheel and Column Electrical Components article. If there are no DTCs present in the SCCM, CARRY OUT the ABS module self-test. DIAGNOSE any ABS module DTCs. REFER to the ABS module DTC Chart in this article.
