Ignition Coil-On-Plug: Removal

- Remove the air cleaner outlet pipe. Refer to: Air Cleaner Outlet Pipe .
- Disconnect the crankcase breather hose quick connect fitting. Refer to: Quick Release Coupling

- Detach the right wire harness retainer from the rear ignition coil on plug mounting studbolt.
- Disconnect the right ignition coil on plug electrical connectors.
- Disconnect the right spark plug wires from the ignition coil on plugs.

- Detach the left wire harness retainer from the rear ignition coil on plug mounting studbolt.
- Disconnect the left ignition coil on plug electrical connectors.
- Disconnect the left spark plug wires from the ignition coil on plugs.

NOTE: Use compressed air to remove any foreign material from the ignition coil-on-plugs and surrounding area before removing.NOTE: When removing the ignition coil-on-plugs, a slight twisting motion will break the seal and ease the removal.
- Remove the ignition coil-on-plug retainers.
- Remove the ignition coil-on-plugs.
