The Lane Keeping System Does Not Turn On Or Activate

DTC Fault Trigger Conditions

| B13A6:14 | Lane Departure Warning (LDW) Switch Input: Circuit Short To Ground or Open | An on-demand and continuous memory DTC that sets in the IPMA if the IPMA detects the lane keeping system switch has been pressed for more than 200 miliseconds during the self-test or 1 second during normal operation. |

- Dirty, scratched or obstructed windshield and/or camera
- Lane keeping system switch

- SCCM concern

- IPC concern
- CCM concern
- IPMA (integral to the interior rear view mirror)
Visual Inspection and Diagnostic Pre-Checks
- Certain lane keeping system concerns can be caused by the IPMA being to cold or overheating due to heavy sunload. Prior to diagnosing a lane keeping system concern, allow the vehicle to warm up or remove the vehicle from direct sunlight. RECHECK after 10 minutes.
