Steering Wheel: Removal
NOTE:
Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
NOTE:
Make sure the wheels and steering wheel is in the straight ahead position.
NOTE:
Vehicle without heated steering wheel shown others similar.
- Remove the driver airbag. Refer to: Driver Airbag .

NOTE: If equipped with heated steering wheel
Disconnect the heated steering wheel electrical connector.
- Disconnect the steering wheel electrical connector.
- Remove the steering wheel bolt and the steering wheel.
Torque: 35 lb.ft (48 Nm)

NOTE: Make sure the clockspring rotor does not rotate.NOTE: Make sure the clockspring pins are not bent or damaged.
Tape the clockspring rotor to the outer housing to keep it from rotating. Use the General Equipment: Adhesive Tape
