Engine Mount RH: Installation

  1. NOTE: The following 2 steps are only necessary if the engine mount bracket was removed.

    If removed, install the RH engine mount bracket and the bolts.

    Torque: 35 lb.ft (48 Nm)

  2. If removed, install the oil pump. Refer to: Oil Pump  .
  3. Install the RH engine mount and the bolts.

    Torque: 35 lb.ft (48 Nm)

  4. Remove the wooden block and vehicle stand. Use the General Equipment: Wooden Block. Use the General Equipment: Vehicle/Axle Stands

  5. Install the top RH engine mount bolt.

    Torque: 59 lb.ft (80 Nm)

  6. Lower the vehicle and position the hoist using the front and mid lift points and raise the vehicle. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview .
  7. NOTE: Apply threadlock to the bolts before installation.

    Install the engine underbody cover and the bolts.

    Material: Motorcraft® Threadlock and Sealer / TA-25-B

    Torque: 60 lb.in (6.8 Nm)
